This Commercial Sewing Machine Elastic Shirring Foot with Adjustable Tension 1/8 Inch comes with adjustable tension that controls the amount of stretching of the elastic up to 1/8 inch wide. You can also use this foot to attach tape or lace without stretching by completely reducing the tension.

Notice the close up view in our image. The opening in the front of the machine allows for easy guidance of elastic so you can keep it straight as the machine is installing it at the needle.
